Development update.
Stage 4A.
Housing construction in Stage 4A is progressing beautifully, with more residents moving into their new homes. There are still some AVJennings Turnkey Homes homes available for sale in Stage 4A, including some of our Stellar Collection homes rated up to 9.4 stars energy rating.
Stage 3A.
Land development in Stage 3A is advancing well, with all land now sold out. Unfortunately due to delays with weather and civil construction, plan sealing is now expected in July, with settlements to follow shortly after.
Tankering removal.
Removing the tankering is a priority for AVJennings. Three pieces of infrastructure are needed to end the tankering, all currently in progress.
Stage 2E pumpstation construction recommenced Monday 7 April in the eastern corner of Riverton near Cusack Lane). While this work is underway, residents can expect machinery on-site, but these works are expected to cause minimal disruption to the community. Construction is scheduled to continue through to the end of June 2025, weather permitting.
Additionally, as previously advised, pipework installation along Merivale Avenue is another essential part of this infrastructure. While originally scheduled to begin earlier this year, we are currently awaiting an updated schedule and will provide further information as it becomes available.
This work is all part of the essential infrastructure required to remove tankering from the estate, which remains on track for mid-2025.
Merivale Avenue Playground.
We’re excited to share that we’re moving forward with an upgrade to the playground in Stage 2B on Merivale Avenue.
Following feedback from a resident survey conducted last year, we’ve been working closely with our landscape architect to introduce additional play equipment and shade to the area.
We’re pleased to announce that council approval has now been received, and the equipment has been ordered. While the delivery, installation, inspection and compliance process may take some time, we’re hopeful that the new playground will be ready to unveil around August this year.
We’ll be sharing artist impressions in the coming weeks to give you a sneak peek of what’s to come. Thank you for your patience—this upgrade has been a long time coming, but we’re confident it will be well worth the wait and a wonderful addition for local families.
Community Grants Program. Now open for applications.
At Riverton, we believe strong communities are built on connection, support, and opportunity. That’s why we’re committed to helping local community groups, sporting clubs, and charitable organisations continue their valuable work through the Riverton Community Grants Program. Since launching in 2022, AVJennings has proudly provided over $33,000 in funding to 14 deserving community groups. Whether it's helping a local sports team purchase new equipment, supporting a community initiative, or assisting a charity in delivering vital services, our goal is to make a meaningful impact in Jimboomba and beyond.
In 2025, we’re excited to build on this success with $10,000 in funding available for local groups making a difference. If you’re part of a community organisation in Jimboomba or the surrounding area or know one that could benefit from financial assistance, now is the time to apply!
