Autumn Apple Crumble.

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place apple slices in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or custard.
