2025 Community Grant recipients.
AVJennings is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Riverton Community Grants program.
Now in its fourth year, the Riverton Community Grants initiative continues to support the incredible work being done by local organisations, schools, and community groups in and around Jimboomba. This year, $12,000 in funding has been awarded across five inspiring projects that aim to enrich, support and strengthen our local community.
The 2025 recipients are:
Jimboomba Community Kindergarten Association.
Funding will support upgrades to the gardens surrounding the centre’s much-loved cubby house, creating a more natural, engaging and inquisitive outdoor play space for children to explore and enjoy.
Logan Wildlife Association.
A veterinary-grade anaesthesia machine will be purchased – an essential piece of equipment that will enable the safe and effective treatment of sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife brought into care.
Veresdale Scrub State School P&C
Two sewing machines will be added to the school’s home economics program, giving students valuable hands-on learning opportunities in textiles and design.
Logan Village Women's Shed
A new carport will be constructed to the side of the shed, creating a sheltered outdoor workspace where members can safely use power tools and work on hands-on projects, rain or shine.
Australian Breastfeeding Association – Logan South Scenic Group
Grant funds will be used to provide ten 12-month ABA Virtual Village memberships and twelve copies of Breastfeeding – A Practical Guide to support expectant and new mothers attending local breastfeeding education classes. Two books will also be added to the group’s library for ongoing community access.
